General procedure: To a solution of 1,3-dimethyluracil 1a (0.20 mmol) in 2,2,2-trifluoroethanol (TFE) (3 mL),(4-chlorophenyl)(hydroxy)iodonium tosylate 2f (0.20 mmol) was added and it was stirred at room temperature.
