Step 1. NaHCO3 and brine, then dried (Na2SO4), filtered and concentrated. The resulting tert-butyl (2-(4-amino-3-(4-phenoxyphenyl)-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidin-1-yl)ethyl)carbamate was used without further purification.
