The resulting solid was washed with 10 ml. of MeOH and dried in vacuo to yield 1.3 g (72%) of 5-({4-[(2,3-dimethyl-2H-indazol- 6-yl)methylamino]-2-pyrimidinyl}amino)-2-methyl benzenesulfonamide monohydrochloride as a white solid. 1 H NMR (DMSO-d6, 400 MHz) delta 10.95 (s, 1 H), 8.36 (s, 1 H), 7.86 (d, J = 8.8 Hz, 2H), 7.64-7.59 (m, 2H), 7.40 (m, 3H), 6.93 (dd, J = 8.8, 2.0 Hz, 1 H), 5.92 (s, 1 H), 4.08 (s, 3H), 3.57 (s, 3H), 2.65 (s, 3H), 2.56 (s, 3H).
