After cooling, the reaction was diluted with methanol (30 mL), and silica (15.0 g) was added. All solvents were removed in vacuo, and the remaining silica slurry loaded on a 40.0 g silica column. Elution with a 0% to 10% methanol in dichloromethane gradient yielded 6-(pyrrolidin-1-yl)pyrimidin-4-amine (1.22 g, 96% yield). MS (ESI) calcd for C8H14N4: 164.11
