The organic layer was dried over sodium sulfate, filtered and concentrated in vacuo to afford the desired product, 1-cyclopentyl-3-iodo-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidin-4-amine (601) (1.27 g, 50.4% yield) as a yellow solid.
