After cooling to ambient temperature, the mixture was concentrated in vacuo. Tetrahydrofuran (50 mL) was added, followed by 25% aqueous ammonia (1.6 mL) at 0″C and the mixture was stirred at ambient temperature for 2 hours. Dichloromethane (100 mL) was added and the organic layer was washed with saturated aqueous sodium bicarbonate and brine, dried over sodium sulfate, filtered, and concentrated in vacuo. The crude solid was washed with petroleum ether to give the title compound. MS: 238 (M+H”1).
