The solvent was removed in vacuo and the residue was purified by flash chromatography, eluting with 15% ETOAC/ISOHEXANE, to leave 14.77 g of a 1: 0. 88 mixture OF DI-TE+BUTYL 2-CHLORO-5-FLUOROPYRIMIDIN-4-YLIMIDODICARBONATE and DI-TE+BUTYL dicarbonate as a white solid.
