H2O was slowly added at the same temperature. The solution was slowly cooled to 0-5 C. The product was filtered off, washed with H2O and dried under reduced pressure at 40 C. for 6 hours. Yield: 0.40 g.Example 7Procedure for the Preparation of Dasatinib Form CA mixture of compound 1 (0.45 g, 1.14 mmol), N-(2-hydroxyethyl)piperazine (0.30 g, 2.30 mmol) and N-ethyldiisopropylamine (0.30 ml, 1.75 mmol) in DMSO (5 ml) was stirred at 60 C. for 2 h. H2O (4 ml) was slowly added and the solution was heated at 60 C. for 30 min. The solution was slowly cooled to 0-5 C. The product was filtered off, washed with H2O and dried on the filter. Yield: 0.39 g.
