Researchers who often do experiments know that organic synthesis is a process of preparing more complex target molecules from simple raw materials through one or more chemical reactions. Generally, it requires fewer steps,and cheap raw materials. 107407-80-7, name is Ethyl pyrrolo[1,2-c]pyrimidine-3-carboxylate. [1120] Ethyl pyrrolo[1,2-c]pyrimidine-3-carboxylate (4.1 g, 21.2 mmol) is dissolved/suspended in 100 mL concentrated HCl. The mixture is heated under reflux. After 4 h, the reaction is cooled and the solvent is removed in vacuo. Absolute EtOH is added and the solvent is removed (twice) to afford a yellow-green solid. The solid is triturated with Et2O and dried to give 4.28 g (100%) of pyrrolo[1,2-c]pyrimidine-3-carboxylic acid as the hydrochloride salt. The solid can be recrystallized from EtOH. 1H NMR (400 MHz, DMSO) delta 9.24, 8.21, 7.90, 7.06, 6.85.
