After cooling to room temperature, the reaction solution was diluted with 10 mL ethyl acetate, washed with saturated brine, and dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate. The organic phase was concentrated and recrystallized from acetonitrile, filtered to give compound 6-(2-chloro-5-fluoro-pyrimidin-4-yl)-4-fluoro-1-isopropyl-2-methyl-benzimidazole represented by formula 1-c (135 mg, 0.4183 mmol). LC-MS: m/z: (M+H)+=323.2.
