The resulting mixture was heated to 55 oc under nitrogen protection, and thenstirred at this temperature overnight. To the reaction mixture was added water (50 mL), and theresulting mixture was extracted with ethyl acetate (50 mL x 3). The combined organic layerswere washed with saturated brine (50 mL), dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate and filtered. Thefiltrate was concentrated in vacuo and the residue was purified by silica gel columnchromatography (PE) to give the title compound as a white solid (2.41 g, 26 % ).MS (ESI, pos.ion) m/z: 249.0 [M+Ht.
