The resulting mixture was stirred at reflux for 1 h. The mixture was cooled to room temperature. The precipitate was collected by filtration, washed with n-butanol (50 mL), and dried under vacuum to afford N-(4-fluoro-2-methoxy-5-nitrophenyl)- 4-(1- methylindol-3- yl)pyrimidin-2-amine as a yellow solid (CompoundS, 15.5 g).
