General procedure: A mixture of 6-aminouracil 1 (2 mmol), aromatic aldehyde 2 (2 mmol), urea (3, 2.5 mmol) and CuI NPs (2.9 mg,15 molpercent) in water (4 mL) was stirred at room temperature for the appropriate time.
