After stirring for 1 h at room temperature, the mixture was concentrated and purified by HPLC to afford (S)-5-methyl-N-(1-(pyrrolo[1,2-a]pyrazin-1-yl)pyrrolidin-3-yl)pyrimidine-2-carboxamide (0.029 g, 0.09 mmol, 41%). 1H NMR (400 MHz, CD3OD) delta 8.75 (s, 2H), 7.76 (s, 1H), 7.71 (d, J=5.5 Hz, 1H), 7.54 (s, 1H), 6.91 (s, 1H), 6.85 (d, J=5.8 Hz, 1H), 5.00-3.60 (br, 5H), 2.65-2.30 (br, 2H), 2.40 (s, 3H); MS: (ES) m/z calculated for C17H18N6O [M+H]+323.2. found 323.
