General procedure: A mixture of 3a,b (2.86 mmol), 4-methoxyaniline (0.36 g,2.88 mmol) and anhydrous K2CO3 (0.4 g, 5.76 mmol) inEtOH (15 ml) was heated under reflux for 5 h.
