The mixture was slowly warmed up to room temperature and stirred for 3 h. Then the reaction mixture was quenched with EtOAc followed by (NH4)2S04 solution then extracted with EtO Ac three times. The organic phase was combined, dried over MgS04, filtered and concentrated. The residue was purified by flash chromatography on a silica gel column eluting with 0 to 50 % EtOAc/Hexanes to give the desired product. LC-MS calculated for C8H6BrN20 (M+H)+: m/z = 225.0; found 224.9.
